Joint-Coalition Webinar on MACRA Final Rule: Who's Down With QPP?

The Consumer-Purchaser Alliance, Coalition for Better Care, and Consumer Partnership for eHealth co-hosted a webinar on the MACRA Final Rule, focusing on issues of importance for consumers and purchasers. Our overall recommendations for future changes to the program:

  • For the Quality Performance Category, focus on emphasizing high-value measures like patient-reported outcomes and cross-cutting measures;
  • For the ACI Performance Category, strengthen the patient-facing requirements;
  • For the CPIA Performance Category, create structures and incentives for meaningful patient and family engagement; and
  • For the Advanced APMs payment track, create care delivery requirements for qualifying models and build in greater consumer participation in the design and implementation of the models.
